Project Description
Nine high volume intersections will be upgraded with new pedestrian facilities. These facilities will include new curbing, ramps, crosswalk striping, pedestrian signal poles, heads and push button equipment along with access improvements as necessary. All improvements will be American With Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant.

No Property Acquisitions will be needed for this project.
Pedestrian and Bicycle Access
Pedestrian and bicycle access will be maintained through all study area intersections during construction.
Work Zone Traffic Control
Vehicular traffic will be maintained at all times
for the construction project. At certain times during construction, traffic
will be controlled by construction flaggers that will alternate the direction
of traffic that can proceed around the work area while the other direction of
traffic is stopped. Driveways will be accessible during the construction
period.

Total project cost: $1,090,000.
